Heart of love meditation
Former Chief justice of the Supreme Court visits Sneham Trust Ashram.
Sri M.N. Venkatachalaiah former, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India and the first Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission visited Muthalamada Sneham Charitable Trust on 17th Oct ;2008, along with his wife Smt Parvathy Venkatachaliah.as a chief guest at the Youth Conference arranged at the Ashram in honour of his visit

The conference was presided over by Swami Sunildas , Chairman, MSCT. .Other dignitaries included –well known philanthropist Her Highness Princess Zarina Zainal of Malaysia, Eminent Author & Litterateur Sri Eyyankode Sridharn, eminent Educationlist Prof P.C. Thomas, Prominent Industrialist Sri Hareesh Chulani, of Uk, Vinu Swami of Kunoor, and Justice Muruganandam of Chennei.

In his inaugural address to the young students attending the conference the former Chief Justice exhorted them to develop divine love for the unity of the country and world peace.

He emphasized the relevance of "Heart of love meditation" founded by Swami Sunildas for curing the ailments afflicting the modern society, where Mother, Father, and Guru are

not given due reverence .Family values, he observed, are of utmost importance to modern world. , where the parents need to be equated –with God. Children should learn to respect and love their parents before stepping out into the world. Seeking blessings of the parents and respect for parents is the primary motto of all Human Right Services.

Quoting from the Mahabharata the story of Yudishtra & Yaksha, he said that mothers love is deeper & mightier than the earth. and fathers is more vast than the enormous sky.

The hourable Chief justice was all praise for the humanitarian work being rendered by

Swami Sunildasji and for what he has achieved through sheer love and compassion bringing joy and solace to millions...

Aksharabhyas

It has been a busy "Navarathri celebrations "at Muthalamada..

The day started with "Ganapathi Homam" & Kakada aarathi to Shiradi Baba.
It was a treat to watch " aksharabhyasam"to tiny kids. In which Her Highness Princess Zarina Zainal of Malaysia took part. As an ardent devotee of Swamiji she has been in 'Muthalamada' for the past 3days participating in all the humanitarian activities of the ashram.

Concert by: Miss Athira , a violin prodigy, who is holding Guinness record for continuously playing for 32hours at the age of thirteen.

She had prodigious start on the violin when she played in the Medical College Trivandram in the presence of Swami Sunildas for the benefit of mentally compromised patients. Also a recipient of "National Balashree Award in 2002.

Today's concert was started with Hamsadwani composition by Sri Muthuswamy Dixihtar.It was a flying start with her dexterous handling of neravals & swarnas ,followed by beautiful delineation of raga and holika before she took up Sri Thyagaraja Sudharas. The Bhajan" Raghupathy Raghava" and "Prema muditha Mana se kaho" were played with immense devotion. Sri K A Sekhar was on Thavil in his own excellence. The artists along with Miss Athira's parents were honoured in a traditional style. Princess of Malaysia was gracious enough to complement them suitably . Performance was concluded with Aarathi sung by Swamiji.

There was a dance program by children belonging to ashram.

Other activities pertaining to food, health, etc went on as usual.

Visit of Swami Sunilji & his devotees to Palakkad Jail (29-04-2008).

This day was an exceptional experience-Swami Sunilji bought a small group of us to visit the jail of Palakkad,situated in Tippu Sultan fort. All the inmates were already sitting in lines and when we entered the building., my first impression was of a deep sadness and a lack of self-esteem on the face of these people-the function started and Swamiji explained in very sweet words the essentials of “ Heart of love” meditation. Slowly we could feel a sacred and sweet vibrations awakening the sad hearts and give new hope to the inmates. Happiness coming from inside, but not from the outer world. Like innocent school children.

The inmates repeated slowly the manthra of love and concentrated their mind on the heart. A new current of love passed from one to another and the entire assembly was ignited with vibrations.

After few bhajans ,laddues were distributed .We. went out. Now every face was unlighted and smiling with sparkles of light in the eyes. Sure there is no bad man in the world. Circumstances can be changing and hurts can be unbearable in the life of the people. But every moment a new start is possible. The secret of it is to develop a heart of love as Swamiji is teaching. Personally we hope to visit again and again my brothers ,less fortunate and give them the hope of love-Sneham.
