Please save a life by donating blood at the Sneham Blood Donation Centre

Purpose: The purpose of the blood collection and distribution helpline system is to meet the emergency situation like accidents, people with major illnesses, certain diseases which require frequent blood transfusion and for medical researches etc.

A woman can donate 4 times and a man 6 times a year. About 60 percent of the population is eligible to donate blood.

Despite all our medical advances, there is still no good man-made substitute for human blood, which is why blood donations are still so important. People donate blood for different reasons – some do it for friends, family members or even them-selves. Others volunteer to help people they don't even know.
