INTRODUCTION

At Sneham Charitable Trust, Modern (Allopathic) as well as other traditional Homeopathy, Ayurvedic systems of Medicine are practiced successfully under a team of caring medical practitioners/physicians, who have dedicated themselves to the philanthropic services. Hereemphasis is given to prevention of illness rather than cure alone. And the sick people of the surrounding villages who had no access to medical care are holistically nursed back to health.

SNEHAM HOSPITAL

Sneham Charitable Trust runs a fifteen bedded Hospital equipped with diagnostic facilities including X-ray, basic pathological and biochemical investigations. The hospital works round the clock , admitting and treating all kinds of cases beginning from small ailments to severe emergencies. The hospital caters services to the patients , spreading over a wide area of about 15 to 20 k.m.in radius from our centre. 70 to 80 % of the cases being managed here , only few of them being referred to the tertiary care hospital.

SNEHAM DENTAL CLINIC

This is a modern dental facility, the first of its kind in and around the area, that provides dental X-ray and outpatient services. It is staffed by a qualified doctor and technicians and free checkups and treatments are provided to the needy.

TELEMEDICINE FACILITY

Telemedicine has been introduced 12-06-2009 under the guidance of Sri T.N. Seshan, Chairman, Sneham Medical Board

PAIN AND PALLIATIVE CENTRE

This facility based on the premises at Muthalamada, enable professionals and volunteers to take care of terminally ill patients suffering from Cancer and other chronic illnesses. Every effort is taken to ensure the terminally ill are given a dignity comfort, and solace in their last moments.

WOMEN & CHILDREN HOSPITAL-ALLATUR

Is a fifty bed hospital located at Allatur about 20km from the Ashram. Its a full time health care hospital for Women & children. This hospital is manned by a team of Specialists and provides Paediatric ,Obstetric s& Gynaecology, Internal medicine, neurology and Orthopaedic services..Dedicated to Sneham charitable Trust.

KIDNEY DIALYSIS CENTRE

Has been inaugurated in March 2011 by Sri T.N.Seshan Chairman, Sneham Medical Board .Blessings of Swami Sunildas, Chairman Muthalamada sneham charitable Trust. A building is being planned for 30 beds, surgical, gyneac & obstretric units along with labour room facilities .

CARDIAC CARE UNIT

A new state of the art cardiac care facility was inaugurated in June 2011 at the trust's hospital in Muthalamada. This will provide relief to scores of cardiac patients in around the area who will benefit from the most modern non invasive cardiac treatments.

AYURVEDIC HOSPITAL

Inpatient services are available, run by Ayurvedic physician and the supportive staff. Free Ayurvedic Medical camps are organized on monthly basis with 4-6 doctors in attendance.

HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT

This treatment is made available to the community on a daily basis. Besides hospital facilities, Health care services include periodic HEALTH CAMPS for free medical checkups. Diagnostics & treatment. These camps also offer an opportunity to educate the children and parents on the preventive aspects of health care such as importance of nutrition, personal cleanliness & hygiene, regular eating hobbits, dental care etc.

AMBULANCE SERVICES

Round the clock services are provided for the emergencies for patients from rural areas. This service provides free transport to major hospitals with trained medical staff. Currently two semi equipped vehicles are used for this purpose.

SNEHAPRASADAM INSTITUTE FOR PHYSICALY & MENTALLY COMPROMISED CHILDREN

This facility based in Allatur provides day care for children. With various degrees of mental & physical handicaps.

EYE CAMPS

Regular camps areorganised in the Trust premisis with the collaboration of with K.G. Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu for free cataract surgery.
