The eminent violinist ,Maestro Padmavibhushan Dr L. Subramanium,his wife famous Bollyhood singer Padmashree (Dr) Kavitha K.Subramanium started a music therapy & research centre at Sneham Hospital premises on 27-03-2010.
The cassette namely " Tranquility "was handed over by the Chairman of the Trust Swami Sunil das to Ms Seemanthiri Sreevalsn,Sr Advocate of the High Court ((President, All India Federation of Woman Lawyers). The therapy would be beneficial to the patients suffering from wide spectrum of disorders both in children and Adults. Many neurological conditions such as stress, anxiety, Depression, autistic spectrum disorders ,cerebral palsy ,learning difficulties, Down syndrome ,emotional behavioral dis orders, mental health problems, sexual abuse, addiction besides HIV/AIDS afflicted individuals & cancer patients etc will have the benefit.
